The film seeks to portray the dramas of people who live in areas of vulnerability to climate impact. The project intends to listen to community leaders, residents of risky areas on the outskirts of the city of Rio de Janeiro and technicians from the socio-environmental and urban areas to explore some dimensions of the problem.

The project will go beyond the memories of trauma and negativity caused by climate change, its proposals for change and proposition of public and community policies and ongoing initiatives will also be observed.

The proposal also intends to show the projects promoted by the Sustainable Favela Network, which has been strengthening the potential of the favelas as sustainable communities, through the exchange of knowledge and carrying out actions of social resilience.

The film is running for the Descarbonário Award of the Climate Reality Project Brasil founded by the American leader Al Gore and aims to train climate activists to catalyze actions for energy transition in the world.
