My trip to Cuba

Documentary immerses in the cuban routine, more precisely in Havana, and captures the perspective of the past and future of young people who were born during the Special Period – period of strong economic and social crisis lived by Cuba in the nineties, becoming more entrepreneurial and creative economically.

In a fully intimate way, the movie draws near to the generations who experienced the period and uncovers the parallel between the crisis and the creativity, the references and the expectations of this society in relation to the political and social future of Cuba, to this and the next generations.

The director himself, with his camera in hand, experiences the city, emerging in the interactions and social expressions of the people who walk by him throughout the trip.
