Tunisia

After 55 years of a severe and violent dictatorship, the political protests of 2011, known as Arab Spring, overthrew the government. Their protagonist, a civil group of revolutionary women in the fight for the equal rights, known as Dignity Revolution. In co-production with Brazil, real characters of this context draw an analysis about the process of independence of the country and the role of the woman in the construction of the democracy facing the conservatism and neoliberal traps that still violate the tunisian women in many ways.
